"I have driven past Plano Marine for nearly 20 years but had never used the parts & service. I assumed that, due to the location, they must be expensive and couldn't care less about a small boat owner like me. I was completely wrong. After a terrible experience with a shop near Lake Lavon, I placed a quick call to the service department and was immediately impressed. After asking about some routine maintenance, I very surprised to find that they were less expensive than the other guys.
I have now had several occasions for service, including a not-so-minor repair to my 85 Mercruiser outdrive and each of my experiences has been excellent. And, equally important, their prices have been less than other local shops. The mechanic has spoken with me on each occasion and has answered all my questions politely and thoroughly. Furthermore, they deliver when promised. (The other shop kept my boat more than 90 days AFTER the date it was promised despite constant phone calls and promises.)
I highly recommend Plano Marine for service. I plan to visit the sales department for an upgrade in a couple more seasons..."
